It’s also known as rigid PVC.The “U” in PVC-U stands for unplasticized, which means that no plasticizer was added to the PVC compound during manufacturing. This process retains the strength of the plastic.

  1. PVC ADAPTORS

The main function of PVC U adapters is to link different pipe sections. This adapter is composed of a glued connection (female) and a threaded connection (male).

 Male Adaptor.

  • The male threaded fitting has external threads on the outside of the fitting.
  • Screws into a female threaded fitting or a threaded opening on a pipe or component.
